Back in the day the TV show Spittin' Image used to have a Steve Davis puppet. He was known as Steve 'interesting' Davis. I wonder what the writers would make of Southgate if the show was still running?

Yes, and I think ours is particularly dire.
  I'm with Billy Connolly, we should use the theme from 'The Archers'.

How about 'Swords of a Thousand Men' by Tenpole Tudor?


After all, Eddie Tenpole (who wrote this little ditty) is a direct descendant of Henry the Eighth, which is why he was allowed to dress in the manner he did when appearing on Top of the Pops.
