U.S. Election

US President Joe Biden has hit back at criticism over his age, telling supporters in a fiery speech that he will win re-election in November after a poor debate performance fuelled concern about his candidacy.

"I know I'm not a young man, to state the obvious," he told a rally in the battleground state of North Carolina on Friday, one day after he struggled in the televised showdown with his Republican rival Donald Trump.
"I don’t walk as easy as I used to... I don’t debate as well as I used to," he acknowledged. "But I know what I do know, I know how to tell the truth [and] I know how to do this job."
Mr Biden, 81, said he believed with his "heart and soul" that he could serve another term, as the cheering crowd in Raleigh chanted “four more years”.

Trump, meanwhile, held a rally of his own in Virginia just hours later, where he hailed a "big victory" in the debate, which CNN said was viewed by 48 million people on television and millions more online. "Joe Biden's problem is not his age," the 78-year-old Trump said. "It's his competence. He's grossly incompetent."

The former president said he did not believe speculation that Mr Biden would drop out of the race, saying he "does better in polls" than other Democrats, including California Governor Gavin Newsom and Vice-President Kamala Harriis.

And after that massacre Biden Campaign Co-Chair Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) said

"I was just in Europe for a few days where the G7 Summit was held in Italy. Leaders from across Europe who’ve met with him and worked with him, say the same thing that I’ll tell you from working with him and meeting with him, he is sharp and engaged, his cognitive capabilities are as good as ever. Yes, his gait has a little bit of a shuffle to it. Sometimes he speaks a little softly. But his abilities for leadership, for surrounding himself with outstanding people, and making the right choice for the American people, that is undimmed. And, frankly, his record is one of the strongest of any president in my lifetime.”

It just emphasises how much Trump and Farage are feared,  possibly because they won't be controlled.
They are their own men.

HOUSTON — The mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, the 12-year-old girl who was allegedly brutalized and murdered by two illegal migrants, was “shocked” when former President Donald Trump spoke with her 10 minutes before he took the debate stage Thursday, The Post can reveal.

Alexis Nungaray’s best friend, Victoria Galvan, who was with the grieving mother when the two spoke, told The Post that Trump conveyed that there was no one he would’ve preferred to talk to before the debate than her.

“He was like, ‘I’m actually about to come on for a debate’ … He gave his condolences, and he said that he would be reaching back out to her,” Galvan said.

“He wanted to … say that he was praying for Alexis and that he’s been thinking about her and he wanted to reach out. He said that he was going to reach out in a couple days to her … I mean, she was really … we were all shocked,” Galvan said.

After the call, Galvan said she and Alexis, who has been staying with her, were talking about how little Jocelyn would’ve been in disbelief over the former president’s attention to her story.

Same tactics employed, today Reforms popularity is being linked to Russian election interference, how many times have we heard that nonsense?
But it's never proved, the Tories are rattled by this insurgency, but it's strange how the msm aren't mentioning the number of Labour voters that will back Reform, surely there must be some.  ???

President Joe Biden reportedly told a group of Democratic governors on Wednesday that he needs more sleep.
The president said he aims to finish his workdays by 8 p.m., and joked that while his health is in good shape, “it’s just my brain.”

In my humble opinion it was an excellent election result for Reform UK. I honestly believe they would have gathered far more votes if it were not for one very important factor; a lot of Labour's votes came from people who simply wanted to make sure that the rancid corpse of the fake Conservatives didn't spring back to life in a similar fashion to a wraith in a graveyard at midnight.

There is now a real possibility of breaking the mould in British politics. Let us observe by-election results with interest in the months to come. 🤞
