movin 2 manchesta pleaze help wiv info!!

hey there,really wanna move manchester but strugglin to work out which areas would be good for me n which not.  I am looking for multicultural areas ie mixtures of black n white with as little racism as poss.  Have you got any suggestions of areas?  can you also tell me what wythenshawe is like for this?  Your help b appreciated loads!!

not sure really depends on what sort of accommodation you are looking for,  if you are going to work in  Manchester itself,  Rusholme, Didsbury and Wythenshawe are quite multicultural - never hear of any racism

I live in Wythenshawe, Its ok..Its cheap...Its the biggest council estate in Europe!

Wouldnt say its very multicutural, mostly white families

Id say fallowfield, Or Withington...Both are close to the city centre aswell

Multi-cultural communities in Oldham tend to attract racist abuse as the BNP has influence there, but most areas should be ok for you - much depends on your income and expectations as to which areas to live, and if you don't drive, how easily you can travel around, - south manchester and the city centre tend to be more expensive than the north, but it is tricky to give more than general info here - good luck though. Hope you find somewhere just right for you.
