Terrible weather last year...luckily we went abroad for our summer hols. As you can see...the weather was perfect!!

Yes, we all (family) went to Southport for the day making the most of the sunshine.

We had lunch at one of the large hotels which was well worth the money, and very popular it seemed.

Noticed a lot of guys in uniform and asked one of the staff who they were,  he told me it was Orange Day, the Apprentice Boys Walk - I whispered to him that they looked a bit middle-aged to be apprentices, but no matter, I've always been curious to see the Apprentice Boys Walk but thought I would have to go to Belfast.
