Transportation to Australia
« on: 12:31:49, 15/03/08 »
Anyone aware of a comprehensive and definitive list of those sentenced to transportation to Australia during the 19th century??

The National Archives database seems unwieldy and extremely cumbersome to navigate (pun?).

Any easily searchable and comprehensive site out there?? O0

Most obliged Mr Migky  O0 I'll give those a whirl and see whats what. The sites I've tried so far are a bit 'patchy' at best, and the National Archives site involves way too much cross-referencing with Church, Hundreds, County & Assize records etc.  :(
