Forums are the best idea since sliced bread. Being an ex-Pat from Sheffield (I came to Manchester in 1951) I regularly visit Sheffield Forum which has too many topics to count. They are replied to in the main by whingers and moaners who just don’t understand that being alive gives them something to live for. They slag off everything! Please, make my life better by coming up with a few more Postings that I can reply to, and hopefully wean myself off Sheffield!

I was about to start a post entitled "101 Things that Irritate You the Most", but, you'll be pleased to learn that I've decided against the idea!! ;)

All 101 — I’ll list them if necessary — are on Sheffield Forum. There’s probably more!

Thousands! I’m up to somewhere around the 2,000 mark; approx. 1,860. Manchester folk generally seem reticent and in need of nurturing. I try telling them about it and hoping for the best, but not much joy I’m afraid. When I’ve some spare time I’m thinking of designing a car sticker to advertise Manchester Forum. If you’ve any ideas, please tell. I go on Sheffield Forum because that’s where I was born. But I’ve been in and around Manchester since 1951 and would prefer more Manchester talk.

Glad you’ve come in. It only takes two to start a conversation, but with three ... ! Who knows, we might even start an argument — as so often happens on SF.

Number one rule --- never argue with other people in a forum it dont get ya anywhere otherthan to want to jumpinside cyber space and smack the crap out of the person ya dont agree with
Number two rule ---- never get up before 4 am as its not allowed the birds are still asleep and as the birds that sleep in the trees near to my house are cockatoos (10lb chickens) i dont want them frightened so that they will [censored] on me when i walk under the trees
Number three rule ---- ya can take people to a chat room but ya cant make them chat
just for your information right now its 07.30 hrs Friday morning and the temperature is 22 deg celcious and we are expecting a high of 38 deg celcious THANK THE HELL FOR AIR CONDITIONING

village idiot — it’s 1.16am in Manchester and I’m up because I work through the night. Currently doing things for a company in Oklahoma City where it’s 7.16pm. and another hot day coming up tomorrow.

Village did tremendously well in  his marathon cycling race for charity, his team came third  which is rather good as the first and second team places went to semi-professional teams, i believe he was so "knackered" he slept for 14 hours, so WELL DONE VILLAGE
