40 minute walk, but if you can get on the metro tram at G-Mex  and get off at Victoria Station which is where the Arena is then about 7 minutes.

Just for your information:
' Stayed overnight at the Hilton and had cocktails in Cloud 23 with fantastic views over Manchester'

Cloud 23 is the rooftop  terrace where you can have drinks, there have been very good reports about the place and it is very popular O0

If some of the bars, hotels and Manchester magazines knew about this forum they'd be all over you like a rash Christopher ;)

I was sent a personal message by someone asking me to post a blog, a video on their forum a while ago

no, you would be surprised how many people dress casually (or worse) I've often had afternoon tea at the Midland and been astonished at the way some guests dress, but they never receive even a raised eyebrow, which I suppose is as it should be ;)

We've stayed a few times at The Hilton Metropole (NEC Birmingham). They used to do really good deals....good place to stay if you're visiting NEC!!
(Maybe I'll try the one in Manchester sometime....I'll look out for a 'deal'!!)  ;D

yes I don't blame you, I've spotted the hotel from the metro tram, but havn't worked out where the entrance is, now someone says it's on Deansgate
