Manchester United legend Eric Cantona is the greatest ever Premier League player, according to a poll on Virgin Media Sport.

Cantona was the clear winner in the poll of Virgin Media users, winning more than 36% of the vote.

Eric Cantona has come out on top of Virgin Media's poll to decide the Premier League's greatest ever player.

Those nominated were:-


David Beckham

Six-time Premier League winner and set-piece legend.




 

 

 

Dennis Bergkamp

1998 PFA Players' Player of the Year and Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year.



 

 

 

Eric Cantona

1994 PFA Players' Player of the Year and 1996 Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year.


 

 


Thierry Henry

PFA Players' Player of the Year twice, and the Gunners' all-time leading goalscorer.



 

 



Alan Shearer

All-time Premier League and Newcastle United goalscorer.

Cantona was a huge inspiration to Manchester United, remember all the success they had in the nineties, he is definitely a legend :)
