Can anyone recommend a tailor in Manchester?
« on: 09:46:28, 14/07/06 »
I'm hoping to have a suit made for my boyfriend for his birthday.  He's got various 'smart' events coming up - such as being a best man -  so was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent (but not ridiculously expensive) tailor (or two) near to the centre of Manchester?

Because of hefty business rates your chances of finding a reasonably cheap tailor near the city centre are nil. My advice is to pay the going rate and get a suit good enough to last for at least 20 years, or until it comes back into fashion. After all, if he’s going to be a Best Man he should at least look the part, and a good suit’s half the battle.
Funny things happen to me on my way to the Forum
