Hello, I'm 16 and me and my friends are wanting to try clubbing.

Some workmates at the Factory tell me that a club called the Spearmint Rhino is by far the best, because apparently the women are very friendly and tend to ask you for a dance.

In other clubs, I've been told its the men who have to ask the women.

Has anyone been to this nightclub? and is it true that the women are as friendly as my workmates tell me ????

No offence, but there's ABSOLUTELY NO WAY you'll be allowed into Spearmint Rhino. It's a stripper/lapdancing club dude! You'll have to be 18, if not 21, and the reason the ladies will dance with you (naked) is becuase you pay them to, probably about £50. Not to mention the ridiculous drinks prices!
If you fancy clubbing at 16, then try somewhere with slack id policies. Depending on the kind of music you like, 42nd st rarely IDs, 5th Avenue IDs but only if you look under 18, The Ritz doesn't ID... the more dodgy/seedy/crappy it is, the more likely they are to ley you in.
Good luck, and drink safe!

Congratulations Lester_Bigot .. you got a reply. £50 for a dance with a naked woman. You could always find a woman of your own who will do that sort of thing for nothing if you treat her right. It sounds to me as though the City Fathers of Manchester aren't too fussy what crappy businesses set up in their city. Such clubs show a sign of a decline in moral standards. I see there are four Bishops in the Diocese of Manchester. I wonder what they make of such shenanigans. Maybe they pretend not to notice that such things go on within the Diocese.
