Not entirely sure why, maybe it's because I played on the very same streets around the same time when these poor kids were taken to their awful doom. Maybe it's because of the everlasting stain on the name of our amazing city, but, I've always been effected by the 'Moors murders'. More specifically, the plight of Winnie Bennett. I can't imagine how that wonderfully dignified lady must feel, going up there, every week for nigh on 40 years, and desperately hoping that her son will be found. Now - and understandably so - the official search has finally been called off. It's futile. Only Brady has the answer.
I'd personally tie Brady to a rack and stretch it out of him, other than that, why not give every con in Strangeways a spade and send 'em up onto the Moors? I reckon most of 'em would be up for it.
Seriously, if I came into money, I'd fund a search myself. It's a totally heartbreaking situation.
