Such a shame...vinegar...great on chips and for cleaning windows. If you're very clever you can 'enjoy' both at the same time. ::)

Mother couldn’t stand the smell of vinegar and wouldn’t have it in the house. I did on occasions play marbles though.

Marbles wa a hobby when I was young. All the lads collected marbles — especially the red and white ones. I’ve still got some of mine — three  bags full of ’em! And an album or two of cigarette card. And all the photographs I’ve taken over the years. I suppose that if it’s classed as a hobby — although I don’t recognise it as one — I enjoy my five dogs;
Wagger, Buster, Mandy (their mum), Rosie and Poppy.

Peter, i dont like the smell much either - its hard to get rid of and pervades the whole house, but there is always a page in some periodicals giving various tips of usefulness that vinegar can provide!

If you read the other threads you’ll see I’m opening a shop in the new year. One of the specialised products I’m selling — quite expensive — could be to your benefit if you ever handle vinegar. The products in general suit every household, and some items are attractive to vegans and vegetarians, and people who like to buy products that are not tested on animals.

Only doing it because my son — a painter and decorator — is getting on a bit and wants a change of direction. I have an empty shop which he’s refurbishing, so when I’ve finally popped my clogs it’ll be his.

Love Car Boot Sales!!! :-* Not as good as they used to be...ebay seems to have taken the edge off them and it has really hit the Antique and Collectables Fairs. ??? Such a shame as there is nothing like SEEING the objects rather than just a picture and a description. :o

May I have chatting to people on the net, Family History and posting messages to websites as my hobbies?

I'm a bit behind you and Peter here, Celeste, but then I've posted 2792 on Belfast Forum since June and done some linking back as well. It took about two years to get to 3000 on RootsChat. I hit that figure about a month ago.
