Having got the needle I think a pin-cushion is very appropriate. Got to go — I new to sew a button on.

i bought a pattern for a mohair bolero but could i find a local wool shop, they are all disappearing, are there any round your way?

I only know that phrase because my grandmother used to write patterns for a wool manufacturer. She’d knit it first, and write the pattern down while she was doing it. I helped by winding the wool! In the early days I’d stick up two thumbs while she wound the ball. As she progressed she bought a wool-winder to make life easier for both of us!

i got off the metro tram at Whitefield once, made my way to a shopping mall, it was deserted and dilapidated, have they knocked it down or built another,  Oh by the way, there is a plasterer "extraordinaire" who lives in Whitefield, by the name of JASON WOODS, if you need one for your shop i can give you his mobile number

They’ve demolished it and rebuilt it on the same site. Morrisons intend putting a supermarket next door, which should in time lead to it becoming derelict again!
