Oldham Hulme Grammar Schools
« on: 08:39:26, 23/10/06 »
My second given name is Hulme so I've decided to have a look at places named Hulme. The  Oldham Hulme Grammar Schools  seems a good starting point. There's a kindergarten, a couple of preparatory schools, a girls grammar school, a boys grammar school and a 6th Form Co-educational school in Oldham.

Not that you’re all that bothered but founded by William Hulme.
Funny things happen to me on my way to the Forum

Naturally ... William Hulme 1631 - 1691. There is a dispute as to whether William Hulme led the life of a country gentleman or followed a legal career after he attended Oxford. Maybe you know the answer to that one peterw.
