They are going to have to close or move the cafe whilst they work on the wall

I'd like it to be all taken up and made into a big square, without any walls or fountains!

I used to love walking throw Piccadilly Gardens, it used to be lovely.  The fountains and the flowers, and people sitting eating lunch.  It was really lovely.  So what did they put in its place a grey wall.  Is that really progress.?

Hello Caza and welcome to the forum

I agree with you Piccadilly Gardens is lacking in colour and it is even more noticeable in the winter months.

The wall has been mentioned to Pat Karney the Manchester council spokesperson and he said there were plans to alter it.

I hope they don't waste any time as my fear is that it may appear on postcards advertising the city.
