The 12th Manchester Irish Festival
will take place in March 2007. The first Festival was opened by the Irish President, Mary Robinson, in 1996. The Manchester Festival is one of the largest Irish Festivals in Europe.

i shall definitely go to that one, did you know there are Irish stallholders outside Manchester Town Hall selling beautiful linen and glassware every year?

:)Wow!! this site just gets better and better.....now I have no reason not to visit Manchester in the New Year, truly I will be down for the Irish Festival......if anyone has family in Ireland i have lots of irish links to help with research....please just post a message for me.....meanwhile http;//cobhnet.com is a great site to start.....cheers Katy
