Of course I've heard of Queen. I think we have some of their cd's. I HATED 'Bohemian Rhapsody!. I think that is one of the worst records EVER!!

Yes Motown....I can remember when it was called Tamla Motown. One of the first records and in my book one of the very best was Reach Out (I'll be there) by The Four Tops. I can remember it being played over and over at a seafront club in Torquay one summer evening in the *******. Also Good Vibrations by The Beachboys - another fave!! :) A wonderful evening....spoilt when a complete stranger passing by was sick over my feet. :-X YUK!!!

No...never lived in Torquay.....had a boyfriend in the airforce who bought an old GPO van and did it up. When he was on leave we used to go to Paignton, Torquay or Plymouth on summer evenings to clubs....and take half the village with us. WE left a club in Plymouth early one night but of course could not come home as the others were still inside. The rain was hammering down and it was so dark you could not see a thing. He moved the van nearer to the club and we sat and waited. All of a sudden there was a tap on the window and two policemen were stood outside the van in those big black capes - dripping wet they were. They asked us to move on. "Why?" we enquired mystified....."because you are parked on a zebra crossing," was the reply! ;D ;D (This was not in the blackout during the WAR although reading this back it sounds like it!!)

What was Alvin Stardust called before?...it really annoys me when I can't remember....GOT IT!!! - Shane Fenton!!
I quite like Paignton...we used to go there a lot when the girls were small.
