My Daughter when she was about two or three years old absolutely HATED mud. I think it was the feel of it sucking at her little wellies. One day she was telling her little friend that she must never ever get in a car with a stranger. I heard her say "they'll drive you away and then they will........" there followed a long pause while she obviously was searching her mind for some great HORROR...she then concluded triumphantly...."throw you in the MUD!!"
I don't think she would be keen on quicksand either.

Deep mud can be a good metaphor for dissapearing without trace when strangers do away with you - sounds like she is very wise

I'll tell her that...you'll make her day!
She's got a little daughter of her own now.

That would be quite scary - strikes me that Australia where just about everything can kill you on the dumpster would be pretty scary

absolutely - i'm sure koalas have not been genetically crossed with piranha fish yet - a few things don't bite, - if you're lucky, the constrictor snakes will get you first - lol
