What are the shops like, a mixture of UK and US items?

I should imagine there are quite a lot too, which supermarkets?

I stayed in Nelson for a couple of months and travelled round NZ for a while - you are a lucky person to live in such a nice country!

Hi DM, My grandaughter and her man live in Nelson,on Beach Road, they are
expecting my FIRST great grandchild in
Jan,NZ is a very complex country,we are
like Scotland cos of mountains,beautiful
beaches, mile after mile of dairy orchards ,crop land, weather is a lot like the UK,you
know sun/rain/fog and snow all in the
same day But yes I love it here and dont
think I could cope back in B,ham nowadays,my house here is smaller than the one we left in Brum but have nearlly
half an acre of land with tho I say it myself a rather nice garden. The country
is not over crowded and more people live
in Manchester than in the whole of our
three Islands, that North  South and Stewart.....Yes I am lucky we came here
1970 rather than say Aust. or Canada..
