Gender= (Male or Female)
Where Do You Live= (Altrincham, Hale, Sale etc)
Do You Like Altrincham= (Yes Or No)
Has Altrincham Been Successful With Businesses? (Yes Or No) + (Why?)
Do You Think It's Changed?= (Yes Or No)
Should It Change= (Yes Or No)
Are You Aware It's Going To Change= (Yes Or No)
How often Do you Visit=(Everyday)(Weekly)(Monthly)(Yearly)
Is There Something Missing In Altrincham?= (Yes Or No) If You Say Yes What Is Missing?)

Lewis the only thing that i can remember that was wrong with Alty when i lived in the uk was that it was a poor relation to sale
I mean that in the retail side of things not the people
The areas surrounding altrincham were more like whats been left over from the industrial revolution (broadheath for instance
sale does not have that it had more upper class housing estates
I dont know what its like now its been 30 yrs since i lived in those areas
The only thing missing from Alty is me i loved the place

When I lived nearby we used to go to the swimming baths in Altrincham and it had a ladies only pool with little changing 'huts' alongside the edge of the pool!!! I'll bet it now has a big leisure centre, probably in it's place. Progress isn't always for the better.

Lewis, if i were you i would visit Altrincham and ask the shoppers there..Personally I do like ALTY as it is called affectionately,  it has a new cinema complex, newish leisure centre, a new shopping comp[lex to be built,  on the minus side, people with cars are always complaining about being booked, lack of car park facilities which they say have driven them to go to the Trafford Centre where parking is free.. It is hilly in places which discourages the disabled.  That said it is quite a pleasant place to shop, hope that answers some of your questions.

Lewis , try and post more frequently - perhaps not on the chat forum, as it can get very short of nice conversation
