Best Fish & Chips shop?
« on: 12:20:36, 30/09/10 »
Dear Mancunians

I was reading Celestes posts about the various restaurants she has visited in the area. The comments about them were mostly, and sadly, very brief.

We are like a good 'nosh up' every now and then. Still, I believe most of us are likely to visit a fish and chip shop more often than a 'proper' restaurant.

So here is my question:

Which fish and chip shop is the best in Manchester?

Personally, I prefer Leo's Fish Bar  O0 (12 Oldham Street, M1 1JQ
.

The taste of the chips is just right. I also like their fried chicken.

I know we all have diffrent preferences, so come on... which one is yours?

My local Chinese Fish ^ Chip shop is lovely, conveniemtly in walking distance and they often hand out free Chinese calendars to customers around New Year's Eve - good food too.

If you can get out to Prestwich, Anderton's chippy is really good - specialise in Jumbo Cod... and they are HUGE!

I'm not an expert on chippies but a nice one has just opened near me (North Parade off Norris Road Celeste)
I thought I would give it a try and the fish and chips were very nice. 4 kinds of fish done to your liking (batterwise).
Are you only THINKING of joining the gym Celeste?xxxxxMargaret.
