While i was away on business this last week we have had 39 degrees celcious for 2 days 37 degrees celcious for 2 days and the air was full of smoke and burning embers
My wife and our neighbours were all on bush fire alert
The next valley to our place was on fire
thousands of acres of bush (trees) were burnt down in 4 days
Ya might have seen it on the news it was at a place called MT Tomagh which is just accross the valley from us
Thankfully the weather changed and it cooled right down to 28 celcious and the back burning could be done

only contingency plan ya have is to get the hell out as fast as ya can
beleive me when it comes within 30 feet of ya house and you are going the opposite way in ya car ya dont look back beleive me
