1.  they are not secure (the new passports with the chip in have already been hacked, info extracted - 3 million demanded to be recalled by civil rights groups)
2.  they will not stop terrorism (some are home grown, or come from abroad where they don't need these cards to enter the country)
3.  we can already prove who we are
4.  they will help criminals steal peoples identity
5.  they will not make any difference to illegal immigrants  (The government have managed to let them back in to the community all on their own!!)
6.  Oh, and you’ll be forced to pay for the privilege! £5.4billion in total

I guess you could be mugged for anything.   you could also have your finger prints stolen and copied from something as simple as a pint glass left in a pub.  Then used to access your personal data that uses the 'secure' fingerprint method.   like after the government sell our private info to third parties (like banks) - your bank account could in theory be emptied, great.

people tend to put labels on other people because they dont understand how another person thinks and feels so they put nasty labels on them because they dare to be different
why would a person spend 10 mins writng an answer be it a right or wrong answer in the mind of the person that is reading the reply that dont matter
what does matter is if you can say yes or no it certainly makes the person who is reading fully aware as to what they have to comprehend
Then again maybe intelectual peole sometimes dont understand the words yes or no because the words have less than 20 letters in them
