Just moved into Manchester

Hi All

I've just moved into the city centre and have been trying to find the great places to hang out at night.

I'm 44 and so don't really want the student crowd but I'm not ready to get the pipe and slippers out just yet either.

All replies welcome...and if anyone fancies a beer (or G&T), please let me know.

I find it hard to reconcile the fact that you are a gentleman - a man of the world - and a marine, where you must have mixed with all sorts of hard men, womanisers and heard all sorts of unmentionable things

Arthur Chappell, is the guy you need to ask if he doesn't see your post, he is in Manchester most evenings, he has his own website, he is a poet and socialite - I've sent him a pm ;)
