They had a tribute to her on tonight.  I often wonder if they look at celebs and think ahead, so they are ready like that.  Not a nice idea, is it?   :-\

Virtually every person in the public eye has a potted biography held by every news agency, which is regularly updated. So that in the unfortunate event of a person's sudden demise, they can go into print or on air with an obituary almost immediately.

Thanks cupcake, came across this site by accident, enjoying browsing through the pages, so many memories here :)
Always loved Corrie as does my daughter, she never misses it, my cousin was an extra from the start and brought my daughter lots of signed photos of the cast.

So sorry to read about this lovely lady's passing.  I feel almost as though I grew up knowing her.  'Have to admit I recall the very first episode of Corrie.  Its rival, on 'the other channel' (there were only 2 channels back then) was Magnolia St.,  but it bombed and it was a long time before Corrie had another similar rival soap.  This is indeed a lovely, friendly forum. Apols for my absence of late - been spending my early mornings writing like billy-o.  Regards to all.  O0
