NFL in London
« on: 20:28:28, 23/10/11 »
I see that two National Football League are playing in London today. I noticed it when, after our National Anthem, I heard them singing "God Save The Queen" in opening exercises. They then switched to our regional game.
The teams are Tampa Bay Buckaneers (Florida) and Chicago Bears (Illinois). That stadium looks huge and it's packed. Right now trhe Bears are way ahead 21-5.

What is the Ohio team called?

Cleveland Browns, is it not?
It's nice to be important, but it's also important to be nice.

Right, the Browns, but we also have the Cincinnati Bengals. That's my favorite .

Oh yes, stripy hats.... I forgot about them.  I know a girl who moved to the US and she had a Mini customised with tiger stripes and shipped over cos she's a rabid fan of the Bengals now.  It looks splendid.
