Health Poverty Action will hold it’s first everMarch4Mothers in 2012. The aim is to raise awareness of the 340,000 women whodie each year in pregnancy and childbirth, whilst also raising funds to helpsave the lives of mums and babies in some of the world’s poorest countries.

March4Mothers is for everyone: mums, dads, children, aunties, uncles, friends…So why not get together and prepare to put your best foot forward on 17 March.

The route is over easy ground, ideal for mums with pushchairs and mums-to-be.So please come and join us, even if you have your own bump on board. The 5kmwalk is suitable for all ages. Give a mother’s day present with a differenceand get friends and family together to give the gift of life and hope to veryvulnerable mothers and children.
10.00am- 1.00pm. Adult Registration: £10 (+ £100 sponsorshiptarget) Child Registration: £5 (+ £50 sponsorship target) All money raised willgo to Health Poverty Action’s work overseas. You may want to arrange some activities for the children. As part of the London 2012 Inspire Programme, YoKu Choir is a children choir specialising in opera singing and cultural excellence. Located in South Manchester, it opens freely to all children under the age of 18.
