Not, I wouldn't go if you gave me a free ticket. It's to overhyped.

[censored] the Olympics. If I wanted to see a bunch of c***s in tracksuits who haven't worked for the last 4 years...I'd go to Liverpool!

Although I'll probable watch certain events on TV.

I shall be glued to my telly.  I love the Olympics. And the Commonwealth Games too.   I absolutely revel in the times when some little bloke from an island I've never heard of finishes 57th in the Marathon and it's a National Record, their greatest sporting moment ever and he gets a statue in the town square.    O0

Frank, Mel and I often rue the fact that we could have been contenders

So could I Celeste when I was younger. But I decided to start smoking, drinking and eating fish and chips. Oh, and going out with girls. So my olympic career end at 13!

I am excited with the Olympics as it is a great showcase of sports talent people really have.  The swimming events are one of those that I really like and true enough, the talent pool we have now is really one that could change the face of the game just right.

One of the ladies in the next street to mine is Spanish, maried to an Englishman.  They've got the Spanish flag hanging out of one window and the Union Jack hanging out of another.   They are in  for a whole summer of domestic unrest..... ;D .

I watched the Opening  Ceremony last night with half an eye, may i say ,i was pleasantly surprised .
Danny Boyle put on a good show, not bad for a man with an Irish background.

I thought the NHS scenes were a little overlong and that there were a few messy bits and bobs but apart from that London did good.
