I agree.  I don't believe anyone who enjoyed torturing and murdering children would ever forget a single detail.  Certainly not the burial site.   Far too much significance.

Irrational it may be to want to dig up a body in order to bury it elsewhere, but you can understand a mother being torn apart by the thought of her poor lad cold and alone and lost.  You can understand her wanting him home in any possible way.  Deprived of any other victims, Brady has had to make do with her pain all these years.  May he live a long time yet with nothing left to satisfy him now.
It's nice to be important, but it's also important to be nice.

Saddleworth Moor has been spoiled for centuries because of those two [censored].  Every time I drive past, all I can think about is them, not the stark beauty of the place.
Anyone know what happened to Harry Roberts who killed three coppers?  Is he still alive/in chokey?

As far as I can ascertain, Roberts is still alive, and, aged almost 77is still in max security at Littleheys prison, Cambs.  A psycho cop-killer, he was recommended to serve not less than 30 years, and has been in prison since 1966, so some 46 years served now.  He is Britain's longest serving living criminal.  It is unlikely he will ever be released, TG.

Thanks Cheetham Girl - I did wonder.
Incidently, an  excellent fictional reworking of the Roberts murders is Jake Arnott's "He Kills Coppers".  Highly recommended.

This:  from CallieI believe you are the moderator for this site and I am asking for your help.

Keith Bennett is the last remaining victim of moors murderers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley not to be found. He disappeared on 16 June 1964.
The last search on Saddleworth Moor was abandoned by the police on 1 July 2009.
Keith's mother tragically passed away in August 2012, the family have vowed to continue the search for Keith and give him a Christian burial.
Please could I use this forum to place a link to an e petition and a video from you tube which explains the case. The petition is for Greater Manchester Police to review new evidence and use new technology to find Keith and bring him home.
Your help and support would mean everything to the Bennett family.
Thank you for reading.

Celeste can I thank you very much for your help and support with posting my message, it's very much appreciated.

Please just spare a couple of minutes to sign this petition, anyone of our relatives could have been in the wrong place at the wrong time just like Keith, his family deserve him back.

Many thanks
