Need help with this quiz

Have solved 17 out of 20 and am stuck on the following:
 
7.   Murky Stream
 
18.  Saintly Music (without middle 't')
 
20.  Tiller on the beach
 
 
NB I've already used Blackpool for 'Muddy Puddle'

No.18 - the only town I can think of is Allsaints the band (music) & Allsaints (Manchester) but I don't get the without middle 't' part

20 is definitely Helmshore, Blackburn looks right to me, but the last one is a bit stinky.  Saintly music is going to need another think...... that would be the one lost on me though, eh?

Still mulling the saintly music.  My guess is it's a word for religious/sacred music, that loses a t from somewhere in the middle and is then the name of a town.  Trouble is, I can only think of cantata and oratorio and they're not right unless Canata is an obscure town of old Lancashire!  I'll stew on it a while.  Probably wake up at 3am kicking myself cos the answer is obvious.....

I think I've googled all the towns in Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire and can't find anything - the only town with a double t is Tottington which obviously doesn't fit.
We were told to think of the words separately and I still can't come up with anything

I'd probably have gone for 17 as a Chorley cake as we're in Lancashire, but Eccles used to be in the county.  The plural clue of number 1 probably wants a plural answer - Whitefields, perhaps? 
 
18 has me stumped.   I can't even see how you could have misread it - there are no words like saintly or music, are there?  Obviously I am just not seeing something, cos all the others are pretty straight clues.....
 
You are going to get the answers, aren't you?  We're not going to go through life wondering.....

If I don't get anything I'll go for Allsaints because of the girl band (music)
 
Chorley or Eccles would be acceptable as both would fit and I'll alter Whitefield to Whitefield/s

I don't think Allsaints is right - it's not fitting the clue at all - but at the mo, I've nothing else to offer!  Maybe inspiration will strike as I sleep tonight.....
