Deary me. St Oswald's a bit obscure, isn't he?  Especially as it's pronounced Ozzle-twistle. I'd have sat here a week and not thought of that.   Well done that man though!  At least we can all stop wondering..... ;D

We were discussing it on the tram and I actually mentioned it and didn't think it through, just passed over it - AND the worst thing is I've been to Oswaldtwistle Mill twice ::) :-[

Me too.  I did some work in Lancashire and organised a tour of Ozzy Mills for a bunch of conference delegates.  It was on the list of places in my head and I never twigged.  As I said, sometimes it's right there in your face and you just don't see it.  We will all be prepared for the next quiz though!

Celeste I know its a longshot and they might not fit but what about the 'cotton towns'? Middleton Rochdale Bury Oldham(You've done that one)Gorton Urmston etc etc.

acchually I have been studying Eban Alexander the neuro who had a NDE whilst having brain surgery and he claimed he saw his loved ones etc.....this question of consciousness intrigues me there are so many tales of NDE with modern day medicine reviving us all.  what is coniousness?
 
 where is it? p'raps Wytchfinder can help on this one.

Handed in my quiz answers in an envelope today, people were still stuck on the Oswaldtwistle one and then just as I was thinking about it one of them came out with it and said it had just come into her head, I hope she doesn't go with it, she did mention more names afterwards
