Middleton Photographic Group
« on: 21:20:33, 03/11/12 »
Just thought I would let you all know that I am running a photographic group in Middleton.
It takes place ever Wednesday at 1:00 PM in Warwick Mill, Lighthouse Project, across the road from the Job Center, it is totally free to come along to, everyone is welcome regardless of experience or camera being used.
It's not a course, you can drop in any time and get some help, advice and get the chance to meet others interested in photography.

I live too far away from Middleton, but I wish you every success with your photography group.  This happens to be a hobby of mine too, and it's always nice to meet up with like-minded people.

Just to inform everyone, we did a one off master class on using Picasa and it went extremely well.
So, now we are considering running other master classes, possibly on other subjects such as Photobucket and Photoshop as well as Picasa.
If that happens, I shall post information about that as well.

The Wednesday sessions are also going from strength to strength, so, if you want to meet others in a relaxed, fun, enjoyable atmosphere where you can discuss all aspects of photography, come along one Wednesday and join in, takes place from 1PM onwards till around 4PM.

Hope to see you there.

you can't we've all gone of and got married divorced got older etc etc what have you. :-\ I'd love not to have any responsibilities again and sit on the side of a river with a poetry book or summat go home and find all my meals cooked for me and my clothes laundered. Incidently Arthur Have you heard of William Hazlitt he's very big down here (South)I think you would get on very well with him he was friends with all the big names, and I think believed that America should be independant from us or summat. Well he knew coleridge and charles Lamb etc etc and I think deQuincey he with the drug addiction

shame its gone - there are photography groups like Manchester based Faint Fascinations online - I know the need to actually have a life too - it often stops the fun stuff -  not to familier with William Hazlitt- sounds like i should be though - cheers. AC

Gone ????

We have not gone, lol.

In fact, we are going from strength to strength, we now have a web site, www.midphotogroup.co.uk and in the new year will be running excursions, competitions and maybe doing some more master classes.

So, to reiterate, we run our group sessions every Wednesday at Warwick Mill, Middleton, M24 1AZ, from 1:00PM.

Hope to see you there.

hang on the 80? forgot that one. We can always catch a coach back to Kent a bit of a ways away I realise that but you'll like watching the boats on the medway and the French tourists ;D  bit of astrange accent the kentish burr they say Barth I say bath with a flattened vowel you'll have to make your own way home sorry.
