Shameless!!
« on: 17:06:02, 05/11/12 »
James Abbott, the writer and creator of the UK’s original Shameless TV series, says that the 11th season will be the show’s last.. Production is currently underway in Manchester on the final 14 episodes which will be broadcast in 2013

Good news   or Bad news?  Was the show any good or garbage anyway?
Does it make Manchester look like a city of scroungers?  Good or Bad for the image of the city?

I've never seen it but if it's about depressing kitchen-sink stuff then hopefully something better will be put on in its place

It's more of a comedy show really. All that depressing kitchen sink stuff is Eastenders standard fayre.  Gawd knows why anyone watches that depressing garbage.

Eastenders is dreary, isn't it?  Coronation Street has had its share of upsetting plots, but there's always been some light relief.   Mind you, there must be people who enjoy the endless wranglings and misery, cos Eastenders ploughs on....

Never watched Shameless, but I believe it's supposed to be the adventures of a shameless benefit-scrounger and his family.  Each to his own, I suppose.  I like grisly murders and quirky detectives, Doctor Who and Red Dwarf.   :D
It's nice to be important, but it's also important to be nice.

Eastenders is soooo depressing I can't understand why people watch it.  Whenever I've seen it I feel like reaching for the rope.
Gawd I hate soaps.

Only watched Shameless once, wasn't impressed. Living on a council estate I see these parasites every day!

I thought it was funny and kinda true to life. However lately, whilst its still funny in parts, the storylines having been getting too surreal

I've never actually watched Shameless, but a guy I work with really loves it and he did mention something about the series coming to an end.  But as for soaps, never watch them and never will.

the totty on Shameless has never been up to scratch really. Most other shows have some decent eye candy and a stunner or two
