Ex labour councillor wins the manchester police commissioner , I wish you luck in spending the salary that the working people of this city have to pay.

I just wonder if crime will go down in real terms with Tony Lloyds input?

If it does not will he be giving back the salary?

100 grand a year at least 3 officers taken off the streets of manchester.

Doing the stats 1 officer arrest 3 people per week on average that's 400 criminal acts that can be stopped for the 100 grand we are spending on mr Lloyd.

And lets not forget the pension and the expenses for mr Lloyd .

Still think manchester is run well?

I don't think it would matter who had got in.  The screen name is your clue to the agenda in this case, Ray..... ;)

More of a statement of fact than a screen name.

"true face"?  Were you aiming for "Facere Veritatum" a la St Augustine?

Don't even know how any MP can put in an expense claim for food (amongst other things).  What about the rest of us?  We all have to buy food to eat using what's left of our earnings.  :(

I think we now have a good measure of the police commissioner from the article .

Just to think how he's in charge of the force.

He should've been made to pay for the cost of the by-election. Why should  we taxpayers pick up the tab when someone voluntarily moves from one cushy job to another?

Fancy even claiming for his Sky subscription??  I didn't realise this was a necessity for him to perform in his 'job'.  Talk about having your snout in the trough!

The worst thing about it is every body had the ability to vote. But it was seen as such a non issue by the general public.
Even the media played if down as a non issue.

I think this should be seen as a warning about apathy .

Come the next police election I'm going to vote .

Does any one know this  are the police allowed to publish the expenses of the commissioner ?

I have not seen any papers published as yet on what mr Lloyd has proposed the force to be doing has any one else.
