I booked a cottage in Lake district fot chrisms Week , what can I do there cause this is first time .

Personally, I very rarely go to the Lake District during the winter period. I tend to visit during the spring and summer months.

You need to check out the weather forecasts and be extremely careful about going off walking. The weather changes very quickly and people get lost and confused very easily. Last time I was there in December, it was below zero, icy as anything, so we mostly stayed indoors, drank hot chocolate with brandy in it and looked at the incredible views. I can recommend that!!
