Sir Alex Ferguson's resignation from Man U
« on: 10:28:01, 08/05/13 »
I think we heard this before about 12 years ago? I wonder if this time he means it for good or its just because of his hip and then he'll backtrack? On the other hand 26 years is a jolly long time so I guess makes sense to say it's about time.
Can't imagine this will be great for United but I guess some new blood may be a nice idea.
Who do you think will take over? Did anyone expect this - total surprise to me...

The rumours are that Jose Mourinho may go back to Chelsea, I wonder if United have announced this now to tempt him to Old Trafford :-\

Fergie is going to become a director, anyone who takes the manager's job would go to him for advice and support as he is so well-respected

It will be interesting to see what the Manchester United shares do when the New York Stock Exchange opens at 2.30 this afternoon.  :-\
We are all lying in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

:o  Is there somebody with Dor on this dark and dreadful day?  We need to take away all the sharp things and keep her away from deep water for a while..... ;D

There are going to be a lot of very upset fans today.  I wonder how the club will mark the actual day he finishes.
It's nice to be important, but it's also important to be nice.

A big Respect to Sir Alex Ferguson who announced today for his retirement as Manchester United Manager.

A great Manager of all time, surely he will be missed.

The big question who should be the next manager for Manchester United, ???

He used to get on very well with Marcello Lippi who won the 2006 World Cup for Italy
