Why was she in the news bulletins? 
Because with the story of this being Sir Alex's final match there was massive coverage. Sue was positioned just outside the tunnel. So every news bulletin captured her. In a couple of stories she was filmed in close up. Nothing spectacular, but something to show her grandkids.
