Well Ya know, with cameras every where one has to seen to be politically correct  >:( . But of course if the mob get the upper hand, then Joe public will say they stood there and watched. So you pays your money and you makes your choice.
Not that he needs my advice but I say to my son he's 23 if you believe in some thing strong enough stand up and be counted, but if you caught up in other peoples arguments walk. In any event if authorities say its Tuesday just agree. There might be time to discuss things with them at a later date.
Please I don't require moral guidance, well perhaps a little..

Aye, its grim...peecee fascism should be exposed for the scam it is and can do one in my book. Those riots are a stain on the history of Manchester policing, taxpayers were ripped off..we didn't get our moneysworth from the plod. We pay the plod to get stuck in and kick butt asap when it hits the fan, not ponce about in Robocop costumes for hours/days with no bottle.

This is the damage done to the plod by peecee fascists and feminists, which we taxpayers are paying for and getting ripped off by.

Instead of getting proper 6ft burly coppers who'd be in there pronto and have it wrapped up in 10 minutes, we get a load of midgets and puny women fannying around whilst the city centre gets trashed.

Remember that Chief Constable from a while back James Anderson?  I recall he was always good for dropping a clanger and making the odd gaffe.

Yeah, some people did think him a little odd. But if he'd  been Chief during the riots I don't think he would have had his men hiding behind walls, waiting for rioters to go, I think he would have been leading from the front!

Yip, it was embarrassing watching all that rioting stuff. Its bad enough having the local chavs on the rampage,  but having the eyes of the world watching on telly and thinking 'is that the best the Manchester Plod have got?'  Shameful.
Due to peecee 'equality' nonsense, a police Force that previously had no problems getting stuck in. taking the fight to the enemy, kicking butt, and having it all sorted out sharpish, has been reduced to a police 'service' full of midget wimps  and women with the combined musclepower of a  girl guides unit  and boy scouts brigade who couldn't put down a catfight in a convent.  Unimpressive.

And I bet peecee Labour Luvvie Mr Lloyd hasn't put his foot down and declared "Right, enoughs enough and a jokes a joke, we're getting overrun here with midgets and tiny women. From hereon in we're getting things back on track and only recruiting in shape 6ft blokes who look the business, put the fear of God into people and can give rioting chavs a good hammering with ease "

Mr Lloyd should  put his bloated salary where his mouth is and give the public a guarantee that if he can't put down the next riot within half an hour, he will resign.

Theres nothing difficult about riot control,  roll up in a few vans, give the rioters a good hammering, cart em off down the nick and give em a kicking in the cells.  Job Done.

Sounds about right to me W.F...........Mind you I know they keep a few big lads handy around here just in case. Mention human rights to them,, well collar bone or knee. I'm sure your much more knowledgeable in such matters than me............
Aye JC. Sometimes 'yoomanrites' just doesn't cut the mustard  Problem the law abiding  public and police now face, because of this 'equality' scam, is rustling up enough riotworthy proper coppers in time to get it sorted.

It seems they have picked a mate of Mr Lloyd. Jim Battle, not sure if he is a local counciler or not. Could it be a case of 'keep it in the family'! ;D

To be fair, if the role is his deputy, it has to be someone he knows and trusts, and who will work along the same lines he does.  Otherwise, it'd be a shambles - look at Cameron and Clegg!  ;D
It's nice to be important, but it's also important to be nice.

I have a feeling he's my local councillor here in East Manchester. Which shows how interested I am in local politics.  :-[ Just checked. he's my councillor and also Deputy Council leader. His brother is an MP. It looks like politics runs in the family.
