Still haven't seen Pietersen in action, looking forward to it though

You have to be quick if he's batting!

I was a sprinter didn't you know?
I'm determined to see him so I'll be 'on the ball' - he won't 'catch me out'

One of my favourite moments in cricket. Dear old Brian Johnson.

I think you can also view the original version that doesn't have the audience laughter on it. That one is from one of those compilation "bloomer" shows with an added laughter track. I love it - Johnners tries so hard to carry on. Cricket is one of the very few sports where commentators do usually add to the pleasure of watching.

Me too. Ian Botham was laughing about turning out for one ball on Monday morning. Joe Root is Man of the Match, which I think is splendid - and well-deserved.
Kevin Pietersen retired hurt..... All that guff about how England needed him to win test matches. Oh dear.
Old Trafford next, isn't it? If the series is a tie, we keep the Ashes, cos they have to be won off us......

My sister called from the kitchen at my Dad's today "Westwood leading?" then broke into song "Still proceeding, guide us to thy perfect light".....
Westwood seems to choke on the big occasions, but that course was a right pig, wasn't it?
Yes, Old Trafford, bring it on!

Well Westwood blew it and I wasn't altogether surprised, shame really.
Old Trafford - yes bring it on, I guess the Metro tram will be busy

Aussies came out roaring this morning, lost their captain for 19 before lunch, then there was a controversial decision, in which their bloke was ruled caught out and lost his appeal, even though he seemed not to have hit the ball at all. The Aussie PM has tweeted his criticism of the umpire
. Things were a bit pedestrian after that, last I looked they were 237 for 3, ticking along. Given the weather forecast, my money's on a draw for this one. Which of course is all we need to retain the Ashes.
