Hi everyone
I'm moving to Manchester to work in Spinnigfields. I'm not interested in living a cityboy lifestyle living Northern Qtr/Castlefield e.t.c but would like to live somewhere a little green, good pubs/restaurants, reasonably priced, somewhere with some young professionals but a good mix of people and good connection to public transport (tram).
Cholrton/St Werburgh's road look nice but quite pricey - lots of pubs, parks and good mix of people + 9 mins to the centre.
Withington (tram stop) seems empty.
Burton Road looks promising - bit cheaper, few bars e.t.c and looks quite nice - is this a decent area?
Didsbury looks nice but probably bit too far out.
Anywhere else missed? Anyone lived in Burton Road area?
