 Andy Murray wins BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2013 Andy Murray has been voted the 2013 BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
The 26-year-old Scot became the first Briton in 77 years to win the Wimbledon men's singles title with victory over Novak Djokovic in the summer.
 
The trophy was presented to him by Martina Natratilova

Winning Wimbledon was an achievement, but with the word "Personality" in the title of the award, I can't help thinking that they should have picked someone with one......  ;D

He may not appear to have much personality but he has definitely got strength of character :) ;)

He's very single-minded and good at tennis and I have nothing against him.  It was a vote and the majority picked him, and I was being flippant - but looking at the other nominees, I can't see how he outranks them for achievement or has done more for his sport/country than anyone else there.
