A lot of English people chose NZ because it was fairly like England in a lot of respects.  I'd make the trip just  to see you - and possibly the Maori blokes..... ;)
It's nice to be important, but it's also important to be nice.

To see Sheila of course but I would have liked to have seen the All Blacks, particularly Jona Lomu O0

and hear the Haka firsthand

I know its amazing that we have to spend so much money on childcare. Just like the oldern days, my mum use to work a day shift and after school we would come home wash, and get ready for school part 2. My mum family friend, back in the days when we use to call friends of our parents generation "aunty". One of my mum family friend, who was retired use to come over to teach us. Make sure we were studying, catching up on home work and doing extra work at home. Around 6 dinner was ready and we use to eat, and talk about problems/confusions/ whatever we had as child growing up. This service was free and Im happy to say that for my children we have found a local retired grandma and grandad, whose children live far away and they are happy to do this for our children. It is great for the kids. Great for commuity. And definately for the older generation, having a sense of purpose, agenda is brill for the mind and sole of the older generation. Its keeps them healthy and young.
