What a shocker :o

Brazil out 1-7 Germany

Right, how is it that we have players in our Premiership of so many nationalities but I don't know of any German players?

Maybe some of their skills would rub off on our own British players, not to mention some of their attitudes O0

I said to my Dad just yesterday that the only way Brazil was going to be able to avoid massive social problems is if they actually won this Cup.   Now they have crashed out so badly, I expect all the resentment over costs will resurface.  I'd leave immediately if I was there now.

Arsenal have 3 of those German players in their team, 2 played last night.

Chelsea also have a player who played last night, and there are 1 or 2 lesser known German players in the prem league squads

Review said Brazil played so badly they made a mediocre German team look like World Cup Winners.  ???   Wouldn't the fur fly on here if United's new manager won it.....? The Dutch have looked good from the start.  Nil nil with Argentina last I looked.

According to Dad, the penalty shootout was the only vaguely interesting bit.....   There will definitely be trouble if the Brazilian government has spent all the budget on a World Cup won by Argentina.   :o

Argentina and Germany will be an interesting clash of styles, but if I was looking to bet, I'd probably check the odds on at least one player stretchered off/bleeding pints.  I reckon that's a cert!

Thought it would go to penalties so didn't watch the second half of extra time.

Wasn't it 1990 when Germany beat Argentina, maybe we should all place a large bet on Germany winning!

I'd quite like to see Messi win though.  I wonder what odds they're giving?

You'll never see a poor bookie!  ;D  They all seem to be giving Argentina the edge over Germany, but in all honesty there's no point betting on such short prices.  Not in football anyway, where anyone can win on any day.
