Delamere OpenAir School Opened in 1920. The school offered residential accommodation in a country district to poorer children from the Cheetham District. The founder and long standing Secretary was Miss Margaret Langdon. Their headquarters was at Frankenburg House, 149 Cheetham Hill Road.
